SPHERES is for students in Years 10–12. It’s for young people hungry to see God move in their schools, to grow as leaders, and to share Jesus with their friends. It's best experienced in a group, so bring your youth ministry, friends, or classmates, and we encourage youth leaders, chaplains, and teachers to come along too.
Over four days, you’ll encounter God in worship, hear powerful teaching, join workshops and electives, and spend time dreaming, planning, and praying about what God wants to do in your school. You’ll also have heaps of fun, connect with new friends, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
SPHERES takes place on the Gold Coast in April 2027.

Yes! SPHERES is fully supervised by the Alpha Youth team alongside registered youth leaders, chaplains, and teachers. We maintain a safe, respectful environment where students can grow, learn, and have fun together. All volunteers have a current Working With Children's Check. If you have any questions or other concerns, please feel free to contact our team.
Absolutely, we want them there! Leaders play a vital role in cheering on students during and after SPHERES. They’ll join the sessions, connect with other leaders, and be equipped to keep encouraging their students when they return home.
Bring your Bible, notebook, water bottle, clothes for four days (including something for outdoor games and free time), toiletries, bedding/sleeping bag if staying onsite, and plenty of energy! Closer to SPHERES, we will send you a complete list of what to pack.

You won’t be alone! Many students come on their own and leave with lifelong friends. SPHERES is all about community—you’ll be placed in a small group where you’ll get to know people quickly.
